UiPath, a leading business automation software company, announced at the FORWARD 5 global user conference that it is in talks with Microsoft to create the best automation and integration experiences between the two strategic partners.
Microsoft Azure is a preferred cloud platform for UiPath, including UiPath Automation Cloud™, while UiPath is a preferred business automation partner for Microsoft.
UiPath and Microsoft will partner and innovate together to bring Microsoft Azure-based automation solutions to market, creating a powerful value proposition for customers looking to increase productivity by leveraging UiPath’s automation capabilities in Microsoft Office.
Today, UiPath is available for purchase directly on the Azure Marketplace and through private offers and will be integrated into the Microsoft Power Platform in early 2023.
Scott Guthrie, Executive Vice President of Microsoft’s Cloud + AI Group, will speak to the audience live on forwarding via video to explain how the partnership will further democratize automation.
“At UiPath, we firmly believe that automation is the future of work and is changing the way companies do business,” said Daniel Dines, co-founder, and co-CEO of UiPath. “Our UiPath automation cloud is central to our business vision and we see more and more customers choosing the cloud as a foundation for their automation journeys.
This wouldn’t be possible without our great partnership with Microsoft and their platform Azure – our cloud of choice. Together, we help customers realize and realize the business value of large-scale automation. We are excited to partner with Microsoft to deliver meaningful, integrated cloud offerings.”
UiPath has partnered with Microsoft to develop over 80 premium integrations that are readily available to mutual customers.
Robust and comprehensive integrations in the UiPath business automation platform include Office 365 and Teams in Modern Work; Power Platform and Dynamics 365 in business applications; and Cognitive Services and SQL Azure in the field of artificial intelligence solutions and Azure data.
As part of the strategic partnership, Microsoft is committed to helping UiPath and joint customers extend these industry-leading integrations across the entire Microsoft platform and offer.
The UiPath Business Automation Platform is a leading, easy-to-use, scalable and open platform that enables anyone from RPA developers and testers to urban developers and business users to collaborate with software robots and achieve better business results.
“UiPath Automation Cloud™ on Azure provides the UiPath platform and enables customers to rapidly deploy autonomous robots without IT, resources, or infrastructure, while Microsoft Cloud enables organizations to reach their full potential using an integrated and open cloud platform that covers six critical areas: security, infrastructure, digital and application innovation, data and artificial intelligence, business applications, and modern work,” said Guthrie.
UiPath and Microsoft will partner to integrate UiPath cloud products and services with a variety of Microsoft commercial cloud services, publish UiPath products on the Azure Marketplace, and jointly market industry-specific solutions, among other companies.
