Influencer Marketing Platform CreatorIQ – the most trusted partner to drive brand economics for brands like AB InBev, Disney, Sephora, and Unilever – today announced the acquisition of Tribe Dynamics, the #1 impact marketing analytics platform.

The agreement brings together advanced analytics and benchmarking solutions from Tribe Dynamics – the industry standard for beauty and fashion brands like Estee Lauder, Fashion Nova, and LVMH – with the ability to make those insights actionable through CreatorIQ’s Creator Intelligence Cloud.

The joint venture will extend CreatorIQ’s leadership position as the biggest influencer of the SaaS marketing platform in terms of revenue, growth, data authority, and global expansion with more than 450 customers, 250 employees, and $90 million in funding. Companies provide marketers with an end-to-end solution for finding, activating, managing, and evaluating their relationships with creators. As influencer marketing continues to grow, reach, and mature, brands need industry models and data, as well as a 360-degree view of performance. CreatorIQ has experienced rapid client growth and expansion over the past five years and is new to a new round of financing, adding another $40 million to its balance sheet. The new round of financing was led by previous investors, TVC Capital, Kayne Partners Fund, the growing private equity group of Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, Affinity Group, and Unilever Ventures. Silver Lake Waterman joined the effort as a new investor in the company.

At the time of the acquisition, Tribe Dynamics was in a period of rapid growth, with new reserves growing more than 100% A/A with a net retention rate of 110% in the first half of 2021.

The transaction is expected to close in the fall of 2021, after which Tribe Dynamics will operate as an independent company shortly. Cooley LLC represented CreatorIQ as attorney in the transaction, while Perkins Coie acted as attorney for Tribe Dynamics. Trust was an investment banker for Tribe Dynamics.
