Demandbase Announces Partnership with Microsoft B2B Customer Data Platform

Demandbase, the B2B market leader, announced that it has been selected by Microsoft, along with its companies InsideView and DemandMatrix, to further strengthen the B2B partner ecosystem for new B2B capabilities coming to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights. Microsoft’s Customer Data Platform (CDP), Dynamics 365 Customer Insights, will partner with Demandbase to provide customized connections to Demandbase, InsideView, and DemandMatrix. While Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights has been available to B2C customers for the past two years, this partnership brings the same level of advanced functionality to the B2B space as Microsoft brings these new features to its CDP.

“CDPs really is the future of serving B2B shoppers the way they want to be served, and now that future is ahead of us,” said Heidi Bamburg, vice president of global alliances at InsideView, a Demandbase company. By linking data in Demandbase, InsideView, and DemandMatrix and bringing it to customer profiles in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights, revenue teams finally have a truly unified view of leads, customers, and accounts. It’s not an understatement to say this is what the industry is waiting for. “

With this new functionality, Demandbase customers can easily pass Demandbase customer intent and engagement data, InsideView contact and company data, and DemandMatrix technology data to their consistent customer profiles in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights. They can also send Customer Insights data from Microsoft Dynamics 365 to Demandbase One to interact with their customers through targeted advertising, social platforms, direct promotions, and email. That way they reach the right buyers with the right message at the right time and work together from start to finish.

“B2B revenue teams typically work with data silos, creating a cascade of growing issues over time,” said Gabe Rogol, CEO of Demandbase. “Working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights eliminates these data silos by merging key customer data from CRM and ERP systems, transaction data, and more into a unified view. It brings together the best of the power of Microsoft technology in the CDP world and the best of Demandbase and our companies in the B2B world. It’s a combination that will positively shake things up for organizations that use it. “
